If the discussion page for a course is not loading or shows an error, you can try to manually restart the Course Discussion service through the system management page.
1. Navigate to the portal administrator view (https://<your portal url>/admin).
2. Navigate to the System Management selection in the Settings menu on the sidebar.
3. Scroll down to find the "Course Discussions Service" section and press "Restart Course Discussions Service" to restart the service.
If you have already clicked "Restart Course Discussions Service" and it is still down, please contact support using the "Get Help From IBM" button on the right side of your screen in your admin dashboard.
